Returns and Refunds
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase at A Modern World, however should you wish to return anything bought from us or your purchase is unsuitable, we are happy to provide a refund or exchange within 7 days of delivery, providing that the goods are in a fully saleable condition and still in their original packaging. We recommend returning the goods by registered/insured post. We will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred whilst returns are held by third parties. If the goods are not in fully resalable condition when returned to us, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or deduct an uplift fee from the refund amount. Keep in mind, returns on shipped orders incur return shipping costs, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. Please note that you are only entitled to return goods within 7 days of receipt of delivery. Custom and special order items are not returnable.

Cancellation of made-to-order products
Should you wish to cancel your made-to-order or made-to-measure product for any reason, it is unlikely that we could sell it to another customer at full selling price. We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the full selling price. In respect of these products our usual refund policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.

 

Delivery charges

We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted

 

Damaged Items
Damaged or missing parts must be notified to us within 2 days of receipt by e-mail. All original packaging MUST BE KEPT for inspection. We will respond and advise what course of action must be taken in these circumstances.
